SIGHT UNSEEN
Some will find it peculiar
That we pray to a God we cannot see
More will find it quite insane
That we trust in a risen Nazarene
Well, it may defy what's been seen or heard
To the human mind it must seem absurd
But He calls us to take him, sight unseen
Yes, He calls us to trust him, sight unseen
And we dare to believe him, sight unseen
Oh, we gotta receive him, sight unseen
For God is our Spirit-Creator
Surpassing the works of his hands
His plans are immeasurably greater
Than anything reasoned by man
If we were allowed to behold him
His presence we’d never withstand
So we have to accept him, sight unseen
Some will think we're defeatists
When they see us turn the other cheek
More will think we've lost our minds
When they hear us pray for our enemies
Well, it may defy what's been seen or heard
To the human mind it must seem absurd
But He calls us to take him, sight unseen
Yes, He calls us to trust him, sight unseen
And we dare to believe him, sight unseen
Oh, we gotta receive him, sight unseen
For God is our Spirit-Creator
Surpassing the works of his hands
His plans are immeasurably greater
Than anything reasoned by man
If we were allowed to behold him
His presence we’d never withstand
So we have to accept him, sight unseen
Yes, God is our Spirit-Creator
Surpassing the works of his hands
His plans are immeasurably greater
Than anything reasoned by man
If we were allowed to behold him
His presence we’d never withstand
So we have to accept him, sight unseen
Yes, we have to accept him, sight unseen
