Composed 1976-77, revised 2023-12 for composition competition under the name Eien no kibo (Eternal Hope), unsuccessful.
I have used symmetric 9-tone mode created from three augmented triads, the three missing notes of chromatic were used before the end. My first use of this compositional method, when only limited material is used and composer tries to find as much as possible different hidden features. Here they were:
- augmented triads, also chained
- whole tone scale
- major-minor chords 3-5-3, also chained
- chained mode 1-3 or 3-1
- quartal chords
- Moravian tetrachord 2-4-1
- Gipsy scales
- Near East tetrachords 1-3-1
- and some more
