This song was my first serious full release. I started playing around with the main riff last December and spent the first two months of 2022 writing and recording it. I released it in early March.

Story behind the song
I wanted to write a song to represent my struggle during 2020 and 2021. However, I wanted the song to represent optimism in the face of extreme hardship. I wrote Wishful Thinking to be thoughtful, bright, and upbeat.
