Guitar and piano just working so well on this track, mix is extremely professional and top shelf (but that’s what we’ve come to expect from any of your pieces) Love it Zak, so good!

Thanks Zak for below information, it’s fascinating mate and so cool a genre which is steeped in such rich musical history and constant layering (of which it’s still morphing) So dig your music and look forward to every new listen, excellence being achieved with every one you do, cheers!

Hey, Whatup GeeS1... Yes, the term JAZZ has become rather nebulous these days... and can mean almost anything. I always try to make distinctions: Traditional - Ala Miles Davis Quintet (Miles, Hancock, Carter, Shorter & Williams) BeBop & Swing Parker & Gillespie, Benny Goodman & Ellington Fusion (Electric & Rock) - Ala Return To Forever, Tony Williams Lifetime, Mahavishnu Orch Fusion (Funk) - Hancock's Headhunters (most notably), Bela Fleck &Flecktones

R&B-based Jazz - ala Grover Washington, Dave McMurray, Walter Beasley, Gerald Albright I use the term Nu Jazz because it's a blend of multiple JAZZ forms (as described above), but in a way that NEW& contemporary. Also, because... you have to use various categories for your tunes to continue to chart. Like if you create three songs & you put them in the same category... like EXPERIMENTAL, only the most RECENT will chart statistically.

my Ai (well ok, it's Google's Ai) tells me Nu jazz is a modern fusion genre that combines traditional jazz elements with contemporary styles like hip hop, funk, electronic music, and improvisation...my ears tell me this sounds brilliant and that they love listening to it, great work here!

whoa, what the funk! the energy coming from the horns is like next, next level! so punchy and giving such a dynamic buzz to this cool piece, dig so much your mixes and recordings (everything is where and as it should be) - you more than succeeded Zak, it's edgy, it's funky, it's melodic, it's rich in sound and it's dynamic!! 10/10!

A really pleasant composition. Lovely jazzy guitar tone and octave runs. ...and the 'strings' enhance the overall smooth laid-back vibe. Very nice.
"Thanks" for the wonderful feedback from my fellow Soundclick musicians regarding my track "Spirit of JOY." - ALL of whom are musicians that I follow, admire, and continue to be inspired by. Highly appreciative of your kind words of encouragement... which I happily accept with great humility and profound gratitude!
